Job Description

We are seeking an experienced PPC professional to lead production planning, scheduling, and control functions for our Cable Division. The role is critical in ensuring optimal utilization of resources, timely order fulfillment, and coordination between production, procurement, and dispatch teams

  • Develop and implement production plans and schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels 
  • Ensure on-time delivery by coordinating with production, stores, procurement, and logistics teams 
  • Monitor and control daily production activities to meet output and quality targets 
  • Optimize machine utilization, manpower planning, and capacity planning 
  • Maintain inventory control of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods 
  • Coordinate with procurement for timely availability of raw materials (e.g., copper, aluminum, insulation materials) 
  • Track and improve production efficiency, lead time, and cost control 
  • Prepare and analyze MIS reports, production dashboards, and variance analysis 
  • Implement and monitor ERP systems (SAP/Oracle or equivalent) for PPC activities 
  • Identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean / Kaizen) 
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety norms 
  • Collaborate with QA/QC to align production with specifications and customer requirements
